From our Executive Director

Barbara Grinwis Barbara Grinwis PA-C is the Executive Director of Oasis of Hope Center as well a volunteer health care provider here. We are so thankful to have her as a leader for this mission. While degreed, credentialed, published and awarded, her greatest joy is simply that she is given the opportunity every day to be obedient to her Lord's mandate to serve others as she would serve Him. She is a leader, a role model, a mentor and friend both to those who work with her and those she serves as a health care provider.

Development News

Jamie Veldhuijzen OHC is excited to introduce our new Development Coordinator, Jamie Veldhuijzen. Jamie has recently relocated from Omaha, NE where she was in charge of development efforts for a Christian inner-city community transformation program. She and her new husband are soon moving into OHC's neighborhood. She will be spearheading OHC's community relations and fund development efforts. Many of you will be hearing from her soon. The story behind her coming to OHC is truly a picture of our Faithful Father directing everyone's steps until we came together at this point of intersection. A screening only takes about 15 minutes and can help identify vision problems or potential issues, along with referrals where necessary. Don't miss out. It's your EYES! And it's FREE! Any adult is welcome to take advantage of this offer.

HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE OHC places such a high priority on assisting our patients and others from the community in getting health insurance, either through the State of Michigan or through the Federal Marketplace, that we’re going to make this service available during our regular hours of operation instead of during a special Wed AM signup time. Effective immediately, a certified application counselor will be available on Monday afternoons from 1 till 5, and during most of our other hours of operation.
See the 'Special Events' page for more opportunities to get involved with this ministry. Health Insurance Marketplace
